AGP 14 is the second of two from the rare and legendary Electronic Panorama 4-LP boxed set in the Philips Prospective 21st Siecle series, published in 1970. Copies of the set sell for hundreds of dollars on ebay. Each LP features music from en electronic studio in a different country.
The second two LPs comprise this installment, offering a selection of music from the Studio of Radio NHK in Tokyo and the Studio Eksperymentalne Polskie Radio. One track from the second LP has been cut because it is currently available on CD (in a collection of Arne Nordheim's electronic works published by Rune Grammofon in Norway and available from cduniverse and presumably other places).
What remains just barely doesn't fit on one CD. I recommend burning everything but the Penderecki track, which is short and in my opinion not that interesting (much as I love the other work of this composer). It can be burned along with the electroacoustic works of
AGP 16, where there's room for it.
The included text file contains the notes from the boxed set, including a biographical sketch of each composer and a brief description of each work. Information on the excluded track is given in square brackets.
